Jackie is a retired college runner, currently coming back from an injury. She grew up in the running community and has ran about 100 5k's, which is probably a conservative estimate. In high school, she initially joined the XC team to get in shape for basketball season, but somewhere along those four years fell in love with running. She was blessed to sign with and run for Northwood University for five years. After graduating from Northwood in 2019, Jackie ran her first marathon and fell in love with it. This year, she is working on getting stronger so that she is ready for her next race day, whenever that may be.

Jackie has a bachelor's degree in advertising and marketing and a master's degree in management, both from Northwood University
In high school, Jackie was part of the girl's basketball team where she played a role in winning the 2013 Girl's Basketball Class B State Championship
Along with XC and basketball, Jackie played varsity softball in high school
Jackie has a passion for running and has been a coach for both youth summer running clubs and middle school cross country
